 Llanerch Vineyard, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Originally a dairy farm, the first vines, a mixture of French and German hybrids, perfectly suited to the UKs' climate - were planted at Llanerch in 1986. The current owner purchased Llanerch Vineyard in 2010, The Vineyard is now fully operational, harvesting between 8-12 tonnes of grapes each year and producing approximately 10,000 bottle of fine Cariad wine.
